Blue Beauty Snakes are out of this world beautiful snakes indeed; amazing colours and paterns combined with slender aboreal elegance. These snakes grow fast if well fed and although slender do become very long snakes!

We have green and very blue phases among our four adults.

These snakes have a reputation as being viv defensive and indeed many are! Often snappy with lots of aggresive posture, they can put off those new to snakes or nervous of them. Most beauties are however no problem once outside their enclosure and those that do remain snappy are still no problem for confident keepers. Otherwise we would for sure advertise as an easy species.

KEY CARE FACTS:

Females grow larger than males.

Although very much designed to climb in caves or trees these snakes do equally well in tall enclosures or more normal enclosures.

They require hiding areas for sure and a localized hotspot is good with an overall temp range around 22c to 28c.

Often greedy feeders eating rodents or chicks without fuss. whilst requiring no lighting they look at their best within a lit enclosure.

Often viv defensive!
